These are the best ways to prevent emails from ending up in the spam folder.
Add an SPF record
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) records help reduce the likelihood of your domain being spoofed in spam messages. They can also improve email delivery to external providers such as Gmail and Outlook. You can add them individually by adding a TXT record to the domain with the data v=spf1 include:spf.stackmail.com a mx -all . This tells other providers that vertigohost is a confirmed sender of emails for your domain.
Add a DKIM record
DKIM, like SPF, is a standard that allows a specific aspect of the email sending process to be authenticated. The premise of DKIM is to verify that an email really comes from the stated domain or sender and to check whether it has been altered during transmission.
You can add a signature by going to the domain's hosting package and the DomainKeys section. Then, select the domain you want to add it to and add a Selector. You can use any value or name. It is simply a field to identify the DKIM record. Then, select Add Signature. If your nameservers are with us, we will add it automatically as a TXT record. If your nameservers are with another provider, you will need to go to "Options" for the newly created DKIM and copy the DNS Name and DNS Value into a TXT record with your current DNS provider.
Edit your spam filters.
If the problem lies with incoming emails, you can add them to the whitelist in the Spam Filters section of any hosting package. In this section, you can set the overall filtering level to tell us how strict we should be with incoming spam filtering.
If you only want to allow a specific address, you can do so by whitelisting it for a domain or mailbox in the package. To whitelist a single email address, you will need to add 'that [email protected]'; to whitelist an entire domain, you will need to add '*@thedomain.com'. This will allow emails coming from that address or domain not to be filtered as spam.
